TrimTab Solutions was founded by two guys who are unapologetically Christian, but who remain very respectful of other viewpoints, belief systems, worldviews, and convictions. We hope the same respect is given to us as well. While we are a 'for-profit' enterprise, we value supporting organizations that do not have 'profit' in their business formulae.
It is with this in mind that we deeply discount our prices (at least 30%) to provide the benefits we offer to the important "non-profit strata" of our society. Of course, we can only meet a limited number of these non-profit opportunities; so, it is largely as we have available time or first-come-first-served.
If you look through our site and see anything of interest for your non-profit effort, please contact us. Naturally, proof of being 501c3 (non-profit) may be required.
Grace and Peace,All of the products TrimTab creates or provides will benefit non-profit organizations. Additionally, we have created products specifically for the non-profit sector. The following are the most requested.
Are relationships complex? For most people, the answer is yes! A common statement heard is, "Our relationship is very complicated." Why the complexity? It's because of wrong standards, wrong definitions and wrong focus.
Wrong standards—Looking for answers in the all the wrong places. Trusting in relationships according to man not God. His design, judgments, restoration principles need to be understood and practiced to do relationships correctly and simply.
Wrong definitions—What is love, forgiveness, freedom, masculinity, and femininity? Poor definitions often lead to bad thinking, actions, and feelings. If you love someone, what are you saying? Do you value freedom? What does freedom in a relationship look like? Relationships are difficult, even complex without proper definitions.
Wrong focus—Focusing on ME is the flagship of many relationship self-help books and gurus. When we focus on "ME" relationships become complex, because now we need to control and manipulate others to make us happy. That requires planning and work.
Great communicators, great preachers “make a real spirit-led connection to real people at a real moment in time.” Is that what you are doing? Are you a new preacher who is fresh out of seminary or who has recently received a call to ministry and has in his heart the hope of touching the world through the proclamation of the Word of God? Or are you an older preacher, one who has been at the work long enough to know the realities of study, the realities of audiences, and the realities of what people will learn and won’t learn? No matter which category you place yourself in, what is at issue is the “more” that is out there.
Preaching on your feet is a unique method of pulpit communication. It involves being “in the moment”, not solely relying on prewritten sermon notes (though they can be very helpful), and staying open to what God might have in store during any given preaching appointment. It all adds up to a heart-to-heart style of delivery that makes preaching a joy for both the orator and listener time and again.
Aspiring and veteran pastors alike will find much to consider and implement in this approach. You will find answers to frequently asked questions about the concept of preaching on your feet.
